About Hartland

"Great people, great fellowship." - John

We invite you to join our team for an experience of exceptional Elk, Sheep, Mule Deer & Whitetail Deer trophy hunting in Saskatchewan, Canada.

We feel very fortunate that many of our guests are now fine friends. We are also fortunate that the quality of our trophies continue to improve each year. Hartland is the leader in producing and harvesting the largest, most massive Northwestern Whitetails in North America. If you'd like examples, please check the SCI record book: Northwestern White – tailed Deer Non-typical (estate) typical (estate).

Today many bucks score over 300" with several exceeding 400 SCI.

In addition to great trophies, Hartland is privileged to offer a beautiful lodge (completed in 2012). Nestled in the Blue Hills of the beautiful Missouri Coteau, the lodge is only one hour from Regina International Airport and presents a spectacular panoramic view sure to inspire your hunt. You will enjoy great home cooked meals, a friendly family atmosphere and our own unique Hartland hospitality. It is evident from guest book comments that our friends/guests appreciate the warm, professional yet friendly atmosphere of Hartland.

My passion for the outdoors and hunting began at age ten. Having "built" my own bow and arrows, I would stalk any small critter on our farm property. At twelve with my Dad as guide, his 30-30 in hand, I took my first whitetail (doe). Buck fever has possessed me ever since. Over a number of decades, I grew to treasure the spirit of big game animals, the outdoors and the pursuit much more than just the kill.

My lifelong passion for hunting is why Hartland exists: so that we can provide others from around the world an opportunity to pursue their own passion for the outdoors and hunting. We now welcome you to join us; to feel the passion; to experience exceptional trophies, terrain, lodging and Hartland's Hospitality; that's what we are committed to sharing with you.

Breathtaking, Panoramic Views & Impressionable Hospitality

Hartland's beautiful new lodge treats you to a breathtaking view of both the Big Valley in the Blue Hills and a spectacular panoramic view of the Canadian Plains.

To ensure a quality hunt, Hartland usually books approximately 4-5 hunters per group, larger groups can be arranged for the value hunt. The lodge can accommodate ten hunters/guests at a time in private or semi–private rooms.

Since our lodge is located only one hour from the airport, hunters usually arrive in the early afternoon with time to sight in their gun/bow and also get in an extra late afternoon and evening hunt. Clients who must take a very early return flight, will be taken to a hotel (of their choice) in Regina the evening before their flight departs. Costs of the hotel are the responsibility of the client.

From the deck of the lodge you can hear the spine-tingling sound of bugling bulls and the rattling antlers of fighting bucks. On clear nights you may be lucky to be treated to the unforgettable beauty of the dance of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis).

If time permits after your hunt you may wish to take other local activities; these may include: pre-arranged migratory game bird hunts, taking in tourist attractions (Casino, Spa, and much more) in Moose Jaw (25min) from Hartland's lodge ... OR you may wish to simply relax and enjoy a quiet evening in front of Hartland's fireplace. Enjoy the flickering flames, the crackling logs as you watch the game or read a favourite book.
