At Hartland we employ a variety of strategies to maximize your success in taking the trophy of your choice. These strategies include the use of ground blinds, tree stands as well as spot and stalk. Although many of our clients use rifles to hunt ; Hartland’s terrain is a bow hunters’ haven.

    Judging/Scoring Trophy Animals

Accurately and quickly determining the score of an animal (by either guide or client) is very challenging given factors such as tree cover, distance and animal movement. At Hartland Your guide will ensure that you are satisfied with the trophy animals’ size and price before a shot is taken. Although your guide will advise you as to the trophy’s class , ultimately it is the client’s decision to take a particular animal. If the client has taken the advice of the guide and harvests a trophy larger than was contracted for , no upgrade fees will be charged. All measurements (SCI) will be made by Hartlands’ qualified SCI Master Measurer.
